About Our Founder

Matt Lamontagne, a member of the Board of Directors at NESSARA, is an ASE-Master Tech with L1 and L3 certifications. With over 15 years of experience in hybrid and electric vehicles, He is the lead technician and executive of Leo & Sons Auto Repair in Lawrence, MA.

Matt founded the High Voltage – Hybrid & Electric Vehicles group, where technicians from anywhere in the world can learn the technology behind EVs and hybrid vehicles. He has also founded The Hivo Group, a hybrid and EV training and consulting company. Besides this, Matt serves as a trainer for the Automotive Career Development Center and WorldPac. He has taught students from all across the world about the unique systems of hybrid and electric vehicles. As an EV driver himself, Matt is dedicated to furthering his knowledge of high voltage technology and electric vehicles.
